Spring Quarter

it finally has ended...and this is where I usually sigh and feel a great amount of stress has been taken off my back. However, the thought of me taking summer school, both sessions, may i add...has not taken nor relieved any stress. The word summer has not even relieved my dread. Summer no longer has its beautfiul meaning of relaxation... Yet, i'm excited and anticipating the day when my grades come out...i for sure either have 2 B's and 2 C's or more B's and less C's. This is the best i've done in school for a long time...i'm embarrassed to say hehe

Mini Break @ Home

my break at home was great. I drove home Wed morning and arrived at around 2pm. Wednesday I mainly just relaxed and hungout w/ the family. Thursday I went to Joe's to fix a few things and unfortunetely saw an unfortunate character. lol...um Friday i had lunch w/ my auntie Stella and ran random errands w/ her. We ate Marie Callendar's where the service was really bad that day due to a shortage of servers. She also bought me a yummy Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pie. yum! thanks EMMA! :) Then Fri nite I drove to Huntington Beach to visit my best freind from hs, Krystal. I met her roomates and her friends who are also awesome people, easy to get along w/. We went to a sushi bar where I discovered a new fav food, Crunchy rolls...according to krys, Tsunami's the sushi bar we wre at, makes teh best Crunchy rolls. After Tsunami's we went to House of Brews, where we met more interesting people. The nite continued back at Krys' apt and finally, I traveled Northbound bak to my home at 4am...didn't actually sleep till 5am. hehe...i think i woke up the family. Anywho, after that long nite, i woke up at around 11am and went to see Harry Potter 3 w/ my family, which was good except I accidently fel lasleep for like a couple min, relaly it was just a couple of min, promise. The movie was nearly 3hrs long! How could i not??? lol...so i was suppsoed to go to SD to visit my bestest freind in teh world, Evonne, that day, but one of my best freinds from Davis, JoAnn, was supposed to go w/ me, but ditched me last min, so I decided to fulfill my promise to my mom to see HP3 instead. Sat nite I was supposed to hangout in Newport w/ krys, so I decided maybe i'll just spend the nite in Huntington and drive bak Sunday morning. So Sat nite was almost as fun as Fri nite and I went to bed at 3am instead of 5am hehe. Sunday morning I drove bak at 9am and went to Arby's to pick up lunch for me and JB while my mom was at church. JB slept in apparently, ahem. After Arby's, the three of us went to visit my dad at Rosehills. It's been 5.5 yrs, i miss him lots and think about him everyday. Sometimes i'm lucky and dream about him. After we went to JB's piano workshop/recital, where lil kids ran around everywhere like animals. lol. those kids...they still havent' learned "recital manners." but they're still young...they still have time to learn hehe. Then we headed to Montebello for our Father's day family dinner, where unfortunetely many of the cousins were not there *ahemshencousins* luckily, my two younger ones were there...woohoo! where...i predicted Kimmy would spill my drink. So basically, beg of dinner, I said outloud "i'll take one for the team and protect you guys (tam and JB) from Kim and sit next to her...i can jus see kim spilling my drink (i had two drinks, sprite and boba), so i'm gonna swtich my drinks around so that if she does accidently knock my glass over, she spills the sprite and not the boba" less than half an hr later, kimmy reaches for more food from the lazy susan and def knocks out the sprite where it splashes all over my yummy jellyfish stringy things and falls into my lap so it looks like i had a elementary skool bathroom accident. Great huh? How in the world did i know that was gonna happen? bc wherever there's kimmy, there's accidents and hazards. Luckily, my boba was saved due to my quick wit. After dinner, we headed home and I packed and watched Gilmore GIrls while doing laundry. BTW guess who got Season 1 of Gilmore Girls??? I DID!!! WHO got crap for buying it??? I DID!!! do i care? nope, cuz i now am the proud owner of Season 1 GILMORE GIRLS!!! WOOHOO! and the sadness comes when monday morning I loaded the car and drove northbound to Davis, where i first made a quik stop in Valencia to visit kim and drop off additional bday presents to tammy. so if you've ever been to our fmaily dinners, you'll notice teh maraschino cherries get stolen off teh dishes..where do they go??? no one knows...until Sunday nite i found a verdict...tammy tang...yup...she steals those maraschino cherries when no one's looking and eats them all...so i made aquik stop at ralphs in valencia and bought her the BIG jar (its not really that big, however, it was the biggest size out of the three jar sizes that they had) of Maraschino cherries. I also bought her these way colorful daisies called "crazy daisies." lol..they were def pretty crazy. THese daisies were all diff colors, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink, etc...it was CRAZY! That was the end of my trip home...sadness...i misshome...

GOD IS GOOD

so when i went home and esp when i had lunch w/ my aunt, i knew i was gonna get crap for not having a job yet. Lectures amounted to my ears...it was great...anywho..so this afternoon while attending my first day of summer school in Davis, which btw sucks!, i received a message on my cell from this guy i met on the plane who was supposed to help me find an internship in hotel management in Sacramento. However, we kept having miscommunication problmes, but fianlly, i now have the rite numb and am calling him bak first hting in the morning. Basically his message said "Hey allison...blah blah...i have in internship lined up for you at Radisson hotel in Sacramento...give me a call..." cool huh? I KNOW!!!(in a monica voice) i'm totally excited. My only concern is that i only have two nice "interview" outfits so they mite think i dont' shower or something hehe. o well...who cares.. cuz i have an internship!!! So i was watching this new show called "North Shore" and its basically about these poele runnign a hotel in Oahu, Hawaii. You wanna know why i love that show??? cuz its totally what i wanna do...its inspired me to work hard at this internship and maybe...if i'm lucky (mommy? hehe) next summer, since i'm not taking summer school, I can live in Hawaii next summer and work in a bigger tourist hotel there. ;) i know i mite be dreaming...but hey...it can happen..rite mother??? lol so i'm so happy i finally have a job...don't know if i get paid for it but either way...i will soon be experinecing management experience. Woohoo! God is good!!! i've been praying about this for forever....ok so i should start my reading now for my summer school classes...looks like this summer may not be as long as i thought....i love working so i'm excited that i get to work in an environment i'lll love. can't wait to get started...i'm just hoping the drive is off of Arden st, which is near the mall, which is like 20 min away, and not in downtown...which is also 20 min but bad traffic and ugly streets...ghetto basically...ok time to read...grr
