CRAZY/FUN
The last couple of wks have been so CrAzY!!! I had finals last week & yea...i did terrible. I'm sorry...but let's not dwell on the past. Anyways, Evonne & Dan came up Thursday and we went to see Switchfoot perform for free at the Sonoma County Fair. It was great! I took a buncha pix. I always wanted to see them in concert, but i basically paid 15 (admission & parking) to see them instead of the usual 30 + for the concert. Friday, I took Chris, Evonne, & Dan to the Jelly Belly factory and we got to see how Jelly Bellys are made. We even got to take home some free jelly beans and JB'z, which are their new flavored chocolate beans. It was yummy. Chris ordered a Jelly Belly cheeseburger there and it was shaped just like a Jelly Belly. hehe. I shouldve taken a pix huh Evonne? o well...we can go again ;) After the Jelly Belly factory, the four of us hit up the Budweiser factory which was located jus a block away from the Jelly Belly factory. There in the Budweiser gift shop, Buddy, my vibrating/swimming dolphin was adopted; courtesy of Chris. He's a fuzzy lil thing. (Buddy, not Chris hehe) After that, Chris went to work and I took Evonne & Dan to Arden Mall in Sacramento & then Fuzio's, one of my fav places to eat in Davis. After Chris got out of work, the four of us hungout and went to a friend's party. Saturday the four of us had lunch at Dos Coyotes, where everyone except me had yummy burritos. I had the new smoked cheddar quesadilla. You know me and my cheese... yum! After Dos, Chris went to work again! and the three of us payed a visit to Rice A Roni ville (aka San Francisco) and we visited Lombard St ( my 1st time driving down the crookedest street) and Fisherman's wharf, and Pier 39. We also went to Twin Pointe ( thanks to Dan!) and saw a gorgeous view of SF. We got Cindy and my roomates presents. They were those things on the street where they write your name all fancy w/ flowers or animals and such. I have one in my room at home in LA if you're wondering what I'm talking about. Anyways, after SF, we all took a nap and then Chris came over later that night and the four of us rented "Butterfly Effect" and watched it at my apt. It was a really good movie, but really disturbing. I watched both the Theatrical Cut and teh Director's Cut and i must say...the Director's Cut sucks. I guess taht's why they chose to show the Theatrical Cut to the public. Sunday, I took Evonne & Dan to Sacramento to go play miniature golf and bumper cars at the Cal Expo. Boy, I've forgotten how much fun that is. By the way, I was doing terrible for the whole game and then at the last hole, i just had a "i dont care anymore" attitude and somehow i accidnetly got a hole in one on the last hole!!! So i won a free game of golf for next time. Since I won taht game of golf, Chris said he'd go w/ me next time hehe. Then I took them for dinner at Crepeville, another one of my fav restaurants. After dinner, we rented 50 first dates, which was very cute and then we all went to bed early. In the morning, Evonne & Dan left to pick up Cindy from Sac airport and then three of them left for Washington. They came back on their drive down on Wed nite and left Thurs afternoon. Thanks guys for the BEAUTIFUL upside down PINK flowers w/ the cute "hat" umbrella & CUTE DOLPHIN balloon! I love it ! and i love the yummy GOLDFISH crackers...one of my fav snacks EVER! Wednesday morning I took Chris to the airport for a fraternity leadership conference in Kansas. My mommy is coming to stay w/ me for a wk tomorrow. I"m excited! I have to pick her up from the airport at 1pm and then I have to go back to the airport and pick up Chris at 5pm. The three of us are goin to have dinner together tomorrow, so Chris can meet my mom and my mom can meet Chris and get to know each other and stuff. Nerve wrecking!!! The first wk of second session summer school sucks but I met a girl who's in both my classes. She's a fourth yr and usually gets A's in her classes, so she'll be a good study partner to have. She's also a Communications major and one of our classes is a communications class. Our classes our terrible though....almost unbearable...neither are remotely interesting. At least last summer session, the classes were interesting...both of these suck! I am hating it lots...i know think positively...grr...so wish me luck for tomorrow!!! time to check the laundry!
